How to speed up the startup of your computer?

Check that your software is up to date

Some processes such as Adobe or Java ensure that the software with which they are installed is up to date. However, software like Avast Antivirus can help you keep your software up to date without these processes.

In the window that appears, check the Number of processors box and then using the drop-down menu, specify the number of processors to allocate when you start your machine.

When this is done, close the task manager window. Press the “Windows” and “R” keys at the same time, in the window that appears, type ” MSConfig” and validate, bypass the security warning. Then go to the Start tab, click Advanced Options and confirm.

In the window that appears, check the Number of processors box and then using the drop-down menu, specify the number of processors to allocate when you start your machine.

Finally if after these software manipulations, you always find that your computer ream, it will be necessary to look at the side of hardware solutions. You can, for example, invest in RAM, which remains a simple and not too expensive manipulation on a machine a little old. Or if you are ready to go further with your computer you can replace the hard disk with an SSD. In this case, plan before saving your data!
